CENTRE FOR COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMMES

The Centre facilitates the INSERCH to come out of the confines of boardrooms and offices and implement some of the viable solutions developed by the Ideation Centre with active assistance of the community. The emphasis here is to impart hands-on workable solutions for a sustainable society. Here, apart from the local communities, students and young entrepreneurs are actively involved in undertaking fieldworks on watershed management and rainwater harvesting, alternative cultivation practices like organic, natural and modern farming techniques, fishery, dairy farming etc. thereby enabling the village community towards self-sufficiency.
SOME INITIATIVES
JALGULLAK PROJECT

We are a team of committed environmentally conscious individuals who feel passionately about the concept of sustainability and neutrality. We strongly believe that we should return to the Earth what's rightfully hers in its most pristine form. One such resource that we aim to replenish at the onset is water. We aim to gather a community of like-minded individuals who want to become 'Water Neutral', in other words, return the water that they use (and waste) every day directly or indirectly.
Since it is tough to achieve that at an individual level, our team is working to make it happen for you.

AGRIZEN PROJECT
People who buy organic food want to know how their food is produced – and where it
comes from. As more and more people become interested in buying local and organic food from farm shops and farmers’ markets, organic production will help to ensure that more money stays in the local economy.
Organic farming is now widely recognized as the most environmentally-friendly form of
agriculture, working in harmony with nature and helping to protect natural habitats and rural landscapes. This all contributes to helping to maintain a thriving modern rural economy, popular with eco-tourists and residents alike. More and more organic farms are opening up their gates to public visitors – why not visit an organic farm near you to find out more?
